Prof. Toshihiro Kogure has been elected as a Fellow of the Council of the Mineralogical Society of America (MSA).
MSA is the international body with regard to the science of mineralogy. He was credited with outstanding contributions to the fields of mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, and petrology.
